All you need to know...

Number 9 is not only in a suprememly convenient location, it's got everything under one roof we think you'll need. Our sitting room and snug both have Smart Tv's where you can log into your Netflix/iPlayer/Amazon account. You'll find games in the blue cabinet and ottoman in the snug and local interest books and maps to plot your walks on the shelves and in the sitting room coffee tables. Books are all over the house, we've left lots we hope you will like, why not add to the library and if you've finished a good read, leave it for the next people?

Children coming to Number 9 love our arts and crafts set, scooters, basketball, beach trolley and there's even a few life jackets if they are your size. You'll find them the cupboard under the stairs with the highchairs.

Stairs, stairs, stairs - the first staircase is like any normal house, the second to the top floor not so much - it's steep. No good for unaccompanied toddlers or Grandpa after a few sherries, so we have put stair gates on the top floor for you.  My 71 year old mum and her hip replacement (she won't mind me saying that I hope) manage it as her favourite rooms is the Pink Room where she watches the stars at 4am, but please do take care. Old cottages in Sheringham didn't think of creaky knees and little children

The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, crockery, all the usual bits and a fab coffee machine, toaster, kettle, microwave, dishwasher (nobody likes to wash up on holiday), washer dryer, big American fridge, beach towels in the settle, picnic sets, flasks, travel coffee mugs, picnic blankets, water bottles, ice blocks oh - and the kitchen sink!

Catch up with the news or your favourite playlist with our Bose Speakers in the kitchen and snug- they are preset to the usual radio stations or go onto Blue Tooth for your playlist. If you get stuck, look for the App on your phone, Bose Sound Touch.

Our kitchen table was made for big family gatherings, we've had our fair share, but its just as lovely for a cosy dinner for 2. Our blackboard is crying out for some doodles or even the Menu of the Day if you're in the mood, please help yourself to the pens, please just wipe it clean when you have gone (unless you happen to be Banksy). If you are catering for there are some really good cook books, but if you don't fancy cooking you're in luck, the town is full of DELICIOUS chippies (our favourite is Seafare but the others are yummy...) and takeaway shops. There are some menus on the pin board by the phone - which doesn't just look good, it's there for your use, but please just make sure you only make local calls...

Babies? Yes - we love them! We've got 2 high chairs, a changing mat, potty and a snug Boori cot on the top floor, monitor and chair if your little one needs a snuggle or a midnight feed. We've designed upstairs with parents in mind and put the cot next to the Pink Room which has a King bed, but a good soundproof door too....

Man and woman's best friend? DOGS! We love dogs, there are bowls for your K9 friends, please please keep paws on the floor not on the furniture and only downstairs. Please also put all doggy do in the black bin. Dogs aren't allowed on some of the beaches between May 1st and September 30th but there are some doggy friendly ones they can have a run on and in low season they are free to ride the waves on all the beaches.

Safety first - there are fire extinguishers, blankets and smoke alarms on every floor, carbon monoxide monitors and a key safe outside incase you get locked out. We've all done it...

The garden has just been completely landscaped and we now have a lovely little lawn and a patio for BBQ's and alfresco dining. Swingball and basketball should keep the kids entertained (or Uncle Nick who loves a good competition) and there's a washing line to dry the beach towels. Please make sure that if you use the BBQ you clean it afterwards so that the next guests aren't eating your burnt sausages...
